three days in the mud for the KNWU
Last weekend I drove to almost the most southern part of The Netherlands. Not for some kind of holiday but for the UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Valkenburg.
With the total of three days I saw a lot of mud, it was really cold but overall a fantastic weekend. The grass turned into mud, bike changes every half round and after two days of racing the Dutch team ended the last day of the Cyclocross World Championship with two more medals. With a total of five, each in every category, the nation had a successful weekend on home soil.
