Gear review… Xtorm powerbank
This week, I will talk about the Xtorm Discover 15.000 mAh powerbank. The Xtorm XB202U USB-C powerbank with 15.000 mAh is a small but powerful power source for mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, USB chargeable accessories, and even laptops.
Powerbanks are one of the essential items I carry every day and during work. I use it to charge my smartphone when traveling, I use it when there is no power output for my MacBook Pro and completely remote I use it as the one single power source to keep working.
This powerbank can be charged with a USB-C input of 5V/3A. As an output it has 2x USB 5V/2,4A ports + 1x USB-C 5V/3A. In total combined it can produce a maximum of 5.4A (27 Watts) with a maximum of 15 watts per port. Devices that need more than 15 watts can be charged with this powerbank, but it will take more time. On the side it has a good quality USB to USB-Micro cable in the case which can be used to usually charge accessories.
In practical terms, this powerbank will charge smartphones more than seven times, it will charge your laptop and is airplane proof so you can take it anywhere you want.
Ofcourse this is not my first Xtorm product. My first powerbank from them was the same model as the one above, but then a 17.000 mAh version. I’ve used it everywhere over the world from the Sahara to the coast of Norway. It never let me down in challenging temperatures and when there is a problem you can contact the Xtorm customer service.
